==== authenticate は使えません。  ====

ntp-4.2.0ではいつの間にか、**authenticate**オプションが廃止されています。多くのサイトで、**authenticate no**としてくように、などと書いてあっても、このオプションは、無視されます。((無視したというメッセージが /var/log/messagesに出ます。))

ただし、等価なオプションがありますので、そちらを書いておけばいいでしょう。
